Achieve is a non-profit, community-based service focused on helping children to enjoy learning and succeed in school.

Achieve focuses on developing a caring, trusting relationship with each child. In turn, this supportive environment motivates the student to learn new skills, which leads to a sense of accomplishment and success. This confidence enables the student to take on new challenges, and most importantly, become a lifelong learner.

Achieve provides a caring, supportive environment by:

• Fostering an atmosphere of genuine respect and courtesy;

• Structuring a customized program that specifically addresses each child’s needs;

• Employing experienced, knowledgeable, positive tutors;

• Periodically assessing the child’s mastery of a subject through tests and observation;

• Communicating often with parents about their child’s progress;

• Taking a team approach to learning through communication with the child’s teacher, at the parent’s discretion.
