Mr. Weiss is principal of Clarence Middle School and has almost 40 years experience as a teacher and school administrator. He is a member of the Committee for Identifying and Developing Educational Leadership (CIDEL) and the Western New York Middle School Principals Association, and is the Western New York Middle Level Liaison to the State Education Department. He holds degrees from Buffalo State college and SUNY at Buffalo. Mr. Weiss is also an active actor in local theater and is the director and playwright of nearly 20 plays. The father of grown children, he lives in East Amherst with his wife.
