Since 1981, Ms. Beres has served as the assistant headmaster and head of the upper school at Elmwood Franklin, where she is responsible for, among other things, curriculum development, coordination of testing, direction of high school placement programs, hiring of faculty and participation in long-range strategic planning. For more than thirty years she also worked as a psycho-educational consultant in private practice, evaluating, diagnosing, counseling and tutoring children based on referrals from schools, teachers, psychologists and parents.
